The principals of Mt. Wilson FM Broadcasters, Inc. (licensee of stations KKGO-FM, Los Angeles, California and KGIL-AM, Beverly Hills, California) own and control Global Jazz , Inc., which provides programming and supporting services for the California State University, Long Beach Foundation for the benefit of KKJZ-FM. Statement of Supplemental EEO Outreach Activities:

1. Mt. Wilson Broadcasters, Inc. and Global Jazz, Inc. maintain an intern program designed to assist members of the community to acquire skills needed for broadcast employment. The program allows interns to gain hands on experience in various aspects of broadcast operations so that they may develop their skills for future broadcast employment. The interns are afforded the opportunity to work in many departments with experienced station personnel so as to gain a broad overview of the nature of the stations’ varied operations. During the period of August 1, 2007 - July 31, 2008, the companies have had many interns participating in the program. All of the university students participating in our intern program are in various stages of college studies.

2. Mt. Wilson Broadcasters, Inc. and Global Jazz, Inc. participated in job/career fairs to promote employment in the broadcast field. Station personnel with substantial responsibility in making hiring decisions attend these job fairs. All job fairs are attended by station representatives or managers.

       *On October 20, 2007, the Public Affairs Director, Denise Maynard, for (a) Mt. Wilson Broadcasters, Inc, and (b) Global Jazz, Inc. attended the 10th Annual Career Day reception presented by the Los Angeles Advertising Agencies Association, Ad Club of Los Angeles and Minority Advertising Training at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which gives 500 college juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience the diverse careers that are available to them in advertising as well as donating items used by the attendees.

       *On October 26, 2007, the Public Affairs Director, Denise Maynard, for (a) Mt. Wilson Broadcasters, Inc. and (b) Global Jazz, Inc. attended Think LA Advertising Career Day, hosted by the Southern California Broadcasters Association. The all day event gave 500 college juniors and seniors from around the nation the opportunity to experience the diverse careers that are available to them in advertising.

       *On November 16, 2007, the Public Affairs Director, Denise Maynard, for (a) Mt. Wilson Broadcasters, Inc. and (b) Global Jazz, Inc. attended the Fall 2007 Internship Job Fair presented by the Career Services Department at the Art Institute of California

       *On May 2008, Sales and Marketing Representative, Kristyn Hayashi, for (a) Mt. Wilson Broadcasters, Inc. and (b) Global Jazz, Inc. attended Cal Poly Pomona’s Music and Entertainment Career Fair. This was an excellent opportunity to network with students, share job openings and collect resumes from applicants.

3. On November 13, 2007, Global Jazz, Inc. sales assistant Andrew Loyola completed a 10-week sales training course with the Southern California Broadcasters University and the General Sales Managers Council. This training course qualified Mr. Loyola for a higher position at Global Jazz, Inc. in radio sales.

4. On March 19, 2008, the General Sales Manager, Kane Biscaya, for (a) Mount Wilson Broadcasters, Inc. and (b) Global Jazz Inc. participated as a judge for a radio sales course presented by the Southern California Broadcasters University and the General Sales Managers Council. This course establishes training programs designed to assist and teach people who want to enter radio sales.
